Collaborative tracking is an excellent example of a cooperative network. Sensors share information (detected events) with their neighbors in order to create a better picture of the environment. For security applications, collaborative tracking using cooperative networks yields more accurate and reliable target detections with fewer false alarms and with less overhead than today’s centrally managed systems.
Operation of the collaborative tracker is shown in the recordings from field experiments.
